Description
This is a known bug in Java in 10.9 Mavericks. I'm putting it here so we can track it and wait for the solution.
In 10.8 Mountain Lion and Java 6, the name appears properly: 
. For some reason in 10.8 and Java 7, the name appears without spaces (and the icon is dimmer!), but at least it still works: 
.
The bug was documented by none other than Minecraft's creator here: https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8029440. So apparently now we have to wait for someone to fix it.
